I FINALLY got to go to Chelsea Lately and I have to say that this is one of my favorite shows to go to! The audience coordinators and the staff were awesome! They actually were giving people choices of where to sit. This never happens. Other shows just stick you wherever they want and sometimes you get really crappy seats. Not here! Oh and next time I am bringing Chelsea's book for her to sign. You can give your book to security and they will have Chelsea sign it and give it back to you at the end of the taping. Oh and I caught one of Chuy's balls! Yes!!!!

We went to Ricki Lake on October 23rd. What a great show! Everyone was SO nice and Ricki is so darn cute! She interacts so well with the audience and makes everyone feel so comfortable. Her studio is very small and intimate. Loved it! I can't wait to go back!

What do I wear to a Talk Show?
When attending Talk Shows dress nicely. Usually business casual or trendy/upscale, especially if you're going to see a daytime talk show that features the audience in camera shots. Wear bright, solid colors. No busy patterns, no logos, no hats, no shorts, skirts or tank tops.

The Pilot of The Queen Latifah Show - We were there!
"BIG SEXY"! Those are the two words to describe Queen Latifah AND her new Talk Show set. What a great experience we had yesterday at the taping of the Pilot of The Queen Latifah Show! Queen is beautiful, funny, super sweet and tall! Especially in heels.
The taping was long but we had a blast. Got to shake her hand a few times (as they had to re shoot the opening a few times and I was the first one to shake her hand when she was walking out). Also shook Cameron Diaze's hand when she left the stage. I kinda held on too long and almost pulled her ring off by accident. haha
After the show, waiters with Champagne (sparkling cider) and pastries came out and we were able to toast with Queen to her new show and I got a hug too. I just wish we were able to have our cameras or cell phones. That would have been an awesome photo. Oh well, it's etched in my brain. Fun Fun Day!

It's so exciting to see first hand what goes into the making of your favorite shows and to also be in the same room as these Big time Celebrities. You may even win a great prize! (My daughter won a wii a few years ago at Ellen and I won $500.00 at a taping of Oprah). Oh and did I mention the best part? The tickets are absolutely FREE! FREE entertainment!
